I love fashion in general, but my all time favorite style is the "preppy" style. You can't get more clean cut and fresh than this style and to show you why it's my favorite, I am going to discuss some of my favorite brands. It's easy to see why prep is my favorite style.
Lilly Pulitzer
I found out about this brand in high school and have been in love ever since. Lilly Pulitzer offers fun prints in classic styles. The lines pieces are so carefree and stylish at the same time. Each piece reminds me of the summer time and what's not to love about that? Some of America's classic style icons have worn Lilly Pulitzer, such as Jackie O. You can't go wrong when you wear Lilly!
Vineyard Vines
A classic line filled with clothes that you could see people in the Hamptons or Martha's Vineyard wearing. These clothes just scream
JCrew
I can't forget this class fashion label. It is the epitome of easy preppy fashion.
Kate Spade
Preppy fashion with a fun and girly twist too it. I love Kate Spade's quirkiness in her designs.
Other brands I like include
Ralph Lauren
Burberry
Tommy Hilfiger

90's Fashion
I grew up in the 90's, so naturally to me those were the best times that will ever be. Life was simpler then, that was before we had IPads, and Selfies, and Facebook. And of course the fashion was A LOT different back then I am thankful that we have developed a better sense of style since the 90s, however it's always fun to take a look back down memory lane. Here are some of my favorite fashion trends and icons of the fabulous nineties.
These pants, seriously what were we thinking?!
You weren't cool unless you had some butterfly clips
Or a tattoo choker
The grunge look was always popular, flannel shirts were in for girls and guys
Don't forget to leave home without your bandanna thanks Xtina for the inspiration
And double denim was totally acceptable back then, if only Britney and Justin were still together!
No matter how crazy the fashion was, it was all about express yourself and your style!
Thanks to the great 90s for reminding us today that sometimes its better to move on, especially when it comes to fashion!
